I'll start with the the most famous one and is Google Trends to put Google Trends in your browser you'll get there this is huge right this is Google that's offering you and a tool to analyze what everybody around the world is asking the type of queries they're building on Google so basically a way of knowing what kind of questions and what's on our mind I'm gonna put Wikipedia here there is a rumor that Wikipedia has been declining in use over the past years and I want to see if that's so you know that's true or not so looking at it for the United States over the past year it doesn't look like it but you can change a time range and let's go for all the data we can get from 2004 to today and look at that we see it peaked around 2008 and it declined ever since but that's not entirely fair because here we're looking at a wet sir just listen these are search queries are on Google I also am very interested in YouTube searches I do a lot of content for YouTube and that's a tool I use all time on let's see what is YouTube thinking about it and look at here it looks fairly stable over you know over from 2008 to today over the past 10 years fairly stable that means that there's still a lot of interest in this tool and people are making videos about it what I think this also means it may be everybody knows about Wikipedia and if we need to get there we know how to go there we don't have to go through Google search anymore so um you know you have other you can do image searches and new searches you know definitely drill down drill down by country and you can also deal down by drill down by category so you know very powerful tool to get you know to get you know impressions about what is trending out there another one I like a lot is wiki stream this is a great tool you see how fast it's going these represent all the real-time edits done on Wikipedia around the world you can slow it down I can say and the image in the background is actually images being added to Wikipedia so they do change as people upload new images and you'll see if they're a new image so here you can slow it down we're saying edits of 0 character let's do edits of a thousand characters and it does slow it down it means that these are major at its bigger edits and we can also change it to us to a country instead of doing entire world and it also slows down even more so we keep it as a great tool because there are some correlations between social events political events and Wikipedia edit so definitely you want to correlate these two if you're thinking about a topic another one is a hacker news profile I like hacker I love hacker news it's a great a great tool to get to see what people are talking about great intelligent discussion and here hacker news this is a tool that allows you to compare different terms that were discussed on Hacker News using the historical data and you can see for example between tensorflow pipe torch and carrots these are both mathematical and modeling frameworks you see the opinion definitely very positive opinion for tensorflow and that's positive for carrots but still very positive there's nothing in negative for either part torch or any of these three and you also have the discussion volume definitely a higher volume for attention flow and then I torch because these are real frameworks this is more library that sits on top of a framework on your ways so a very interesting tool to see what the tech community...
