Surreal footage from the Russian war in Ukraine shows a strange but intense encounter between a reportedly Ukrainian armored Strela-10 vehicle and a Russian MRAP armed with a machine gun on the middle of a street in the area of Kyiv appeared. It shows the Ukrainian vehicle driving towards the alleged Russian MRAP while totally ignoring direct machine gun fire fired from the MRAP. While the reports say that the vehicle on the left was in fact Ukrainian and the vehicle on the right Russian it has to be said that no markings indicating either side could be seen on each of the vehicles. Some argued that the MRAP was in fact a Ukrainian MRAP and the Strela-10 was captured by Russian forces who , what reports claim, got caught operating while wearing Ukrainian uniforms and driving Ukrainian vehicles. WikiWars, c’est son nom, est un tournoi dont l’objectif est simple : trouver le plus rapidement possible un terme sur Wikipédia. La tension est à son comble. Les participants au duel se font face, chacun armé d'un ordinateur. La seule règle : ils doivent naviguer d’une page à une autre via les seuls hyperliens (les mots ou groupes de mots soulignés en bleus) présents dans les articles, et la recherche du navigateur (le fameux CTRL +F). Ils ont cinq minutes maximum pour aller d’une page de départ à une page d’arrivée sur Wikipédia. Dans une partie d’entraînement, nous avons dû par exemple partir de la page consacrée par l’encyclopédie en ligne au mouvement #BalanceTonPorc à celle traitant des momies. He concluded by asking nine questions he said were raised by the leaks and the outcry against Mr. Assange. Do the America people deserve know the truth regarding the ongoing war in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Yemen? Could a larger question be, How can an Army private gain access to so much secret information? Why is the hostility mostly directed at Assange, the publisher, and not our government's failure to protect classified information? Are we getting our money's worth from the $80 billion dollars per year we spend on intelligence gathering? Which has resulted in the greatest number of deaths: lying us into war or WikiLeaks revelations or the release of the Pentagon Papers? If Assange can be convicted of a crime for publishing information that he did not steal, what does this say about the future of the First Amendment and the independence of the Internet? Could it be that the real reason for the near-universal attacks on WikiLeaks is more about secretly maintaining a seriously flawed foreign policy of empire than it is about national security? Is there not a huge difference between releasing secret information to help the enemy in a time of declared war, which is treason, and the releasing of information to expose our government lies that promote secret wars, death and corruption? Was it not once considered patriotic to stand up to our government when it's wrong? ( 🤍
